443: If the first syllable involves a long vowel, then it must receive primary stress. If there is no long vowel and the word is di- or quadrisyllabic, stress the first, if the word is three or five syllables long stress the second. (Dixon 1983:443)

140: In Wargamay long voweled syllables are heavy and all others are light. In simplex words, which form the domain of the stress rule, long vowels may only occur in the initial syllable. If the iniital syllable is heavy it receives main stress, otherwise stress is on the second syllable in words of three or five syllables and on the initial syllable in words with two or four syllables. Secondary stress falls on alternating syllables after the primary stress, except that it may never fall in final position. (Hayes 1995:140)
