7: Word stress falls on the final syllable of nouns and pronouns. ..neither the indefinite or the definite article (-i -ra) carries stress (these are affixed to the end of the noun stem).. (Lambton 1953:7)
9: Plural terminations (-ha -an) carry stress. (Lambton 1953:9)
19: Stress in verbal forms in carried on the final syllable of the main verb where there is no prefix, except in the future, when the stress falls on the final syllable of the aux verb. Prefixed mi- or be- carries stress. In negative verbal forms stress is on the negative prefix na-. (Lambton 1953:19)
