47-48: Stress generally falls on the first syllable of a word. A long vowel generally takes a stress even if it is not word-initial. A stress may also fall on the second morpheme if it is trisyllabic or if it is a disyllabic morpheme containing a CVC-syllable, the initial main stress may then either remain or vanish.
